Annually, the Health Professions Resource Center (HPRC) collects licensing data from the Texas Board of Nursing (BON). This dashboard provides the analysis done by TCNWS on demographic summaries for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) with an active Texas license. These summaries include the number and geographic distribution of LVNs, their race/ethnicity, gender distribution, as well as information on their practice and education.
Professional Nursing Education
Annually, the Texas Board of Nursing (BON), in collaboration with the Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies (TCNWS), collects data through the Nursing Education Program Information Survey (NEPIS). This dashboard presents the collected information on Professional Nursing Education programs in Texas, including the geographic location of programs, program characteristics, applications, enrollment, and graduation from professional nursing programs as well as graduate demographic data.
